“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
I pray that you get a revelation from the Holy Spirit of how important seasons are in your life and that these seasons will help bring together the destiny and purpose the Lord has for your life.
What your attitude is to seasons in your life in of huge importance. With the Lord if you fall into sin He will forgive you if you ask Him (1 John 1:9). However if you do not pass what He is trying to bring you to He will not reject you but you will remain in that season until you pass the thing He is trying to help you grow in.
Let’s look at Moses’ life.
Moses’ life is made up of 3 seasons of 40 years each. Moses lived to be 120 years old.
His first 40 year season of his life is made up of his birth to a Jewish woman who was in Egypt after Joseph had passed away and a new pharaoh took over that did not know Joseph. The new pharaoh started to hate the Jewish people as he felt they were multiplying too fast so the new Pharaoh was killing all of the male Jewish babies.
Moses mother wanted to save Moses life so she put him in a basket and took him to a river and put him by the edge of it.
Before long the Pharaoh’s daughter came down to the river to bathe and discovered Moses and took a liking to him and ended up raising him as her son.
Moses grew up in palaces and had the best of everything. In a way he had it made in the eyes of the world. But even with all of this Moses knew he did not fit in with the Egyptians and one day saw an Egyptian beating up on one of the Hebrews and Moses ended up killing the Egyptian. Exodus 2:11-12
When the Pharaoh heard of this he was very angry with Moses and Moses fled to a place called Midian.
All of this took up 40 years of his life. It was the first season of his life. His life had been spared when he was a baby and now he was running from his step mother and the Pharaoh to Midian. Exodus 2:1-15
Sometimes you can look back at your life and say what a wasted time that was and I’m sure Moses felt the same way. I’m sure at times he reflected back and thought that he really blew the chance he had to live in luxury and yet the other part of him knew he could not live there anymore.
However God can use the things you learned in the past to bless you in the future, nothing is wasted with the Lord.
Moses just did not fit in Egypt.
The 2nd season of his life started at the well in Midian where 7 daughters of the priest of Midian were watering their father’s flock. Exodus 2: 16-17
Moses wasn’t there by accident. God had a purpose for Moses running to Midian and it wasn’t long before he found out what the reason was, at least a part of it.
Moses started helping the 7 daughter’s water their fathers flock even though some shepherds tried to send the daughters away from the well as they did not want to share the water with them. But Moses stood up for the 7 daughters and finished watering the flock for the daughters.
When the 7 daughters of the priest of Midian returned home to their father they told him that an Egyptian (Moses) helped them water the flock even though some shepherds tried to run the daughters off.
The father asked the girls where the man was and the priest of Midian invited Moses to eat with them. Exodus 2:18-22
The priest took a liking to Moses and gave one of his daughters Zipporah to Moses as his wife and Moses became a shepherd to his father in law’s sheep.
You better believe that satan came against Moses in a huge way telling him that he was the Pharoah’s step son and had it made and now what is Moses doing, he is tending his father in law’s sheep?
Moses had gone from living in a palace with the finest of everything to a shepherd on the north forty so to speak.
In the natural realm it looked like a huge demotion.
This new career of Moses being a shepherd for his father in law Jethro lasted a long time, another 40 years, which became the 2nd season of 40 years in Moses life.
At the end of this 2nd season in Moses life he is now 80 years old.
Don’t ever think in your wildest dreams that the Lord cannot use you because you are too old. That is a lie from hell itself and Moses is a prime example of it.
This 2nd 40 years in the wilderness with Jethro’s sheep must have been a time when God was able to talk to Moses and get a lot of things straightened out in his life.
Sometimes it may seem like you will never get out of a certain season of your life but as I stated there is no wasted time with the Lord. He uses every minute to perfect that which concerns you.
He wants to promote you but you must be ready for the promotion.
David said: “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me; thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever; forsake not the works of thine own hands.” Psalm 138:8
To prove this point, one day while Moses was out in the wilderness with the sheep he came upon a burning bush and yet as he looked at it the bush was not consumed. Exodus 3:1-14
Out of the bush the Lord spoke to Moses and told him that the ground you are standing on is holy, take off your shoes. So Moses obeyed the Lord and took off his shoes.
Then the Lord told Moses that He wanted him to go back to Egypt and deliver the Jewish people from the oppression of the Pharaoh. The Lord said He had heard the cries of the Israelites to Him for help. Exodus 3:1-22, Exodus 4:1-31
By this time even though only 70 people led by Jacob had entered Egypt because of a famine when Joseph was 2nd in command under a previous pharaoh another pharaoh did not know Joseph after he passed away and the Israelites were treated as slaves.
After 430 years in Egypt the Israelites had grown from 70 people to between 2 and 3 million Israelites and they were crying out to God for help.
Moses gave God a lot of excuses like why me?
I can’t do what you are asking me to do.
However God assured Moses that He would be with him and do signs and wonders through the rod that was in Moses hand and when the Israelites would ask Him who sent him God told him to say: Tell them: ‘I AM THAT I AM SENT YOU.” Exodus 3:13-14
Moses is now in the 3rd season of 40 years in his life as he heads back to the place he fled from 40 years earlier.
Sometimes the Lord will send you back to where you started from as you have a mission that He has for you but you will not go back to that place empty handed. God will anoint you and equip you for every season He has called you to.
Of course Moses thought of all places for the Lord to call me back to it had to be Egypt.
I’m sure that Moses hoped he would never see Egypt again.
Moses now became the deliverer of the Israelites for the Lord from Egyptian bondage.
Instead of taking care of a flock of his father in law’s sheep he suddenly had 2-3 million Israelites on his hands. But believe it or not that 40 years as a shepherd of sheep prepared Moses for this monumental job.
God can teach you valuable things in times when you figured it was all down time. Like the time was wasted but it will not be.
The key is to be willing and obedient during those times so God can lift you up to a higher level. “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.” see 1 Peter 5:6
The Bible also says that you are not to despise small beginnings: “For who hath despised the day of small things?…” Zechariah 4: 10
Moses obeyed God and with the Lord’s help Moses delivered between 2 to 3 million but not before they took the gold and silver and clothing and other valuable things from the Egyptians. They were so glad to get rid of the Israelites after the Egyptians had gone through 10 horrible plagues the last of which was the Passover that the Bible said they spoiled the Egyptians. In other words they took everything of value the Egyptians had. Exodus 12:33-36
Then the Lord brought them to the Red Sea with the Egyptians chasing them and God told Moses to lift his rod and touch the Red Sea and it parted and the Israelites went over on dry ground but when the Egyptians tried to cross the Red Sea came back together and all of the Egyptians were drowned. See Exodus 14: 1-31
So Moses accomplished the rescue of the Israelites and while they were in the wilderness for 40 years Moses was given divine instructions to finally have the Israelites go into Canaan Land with Joshua. Moses died in the wilderness, but his mission to deliver the people was finally completed.
Moses had completed the third 40 year season of his life.
Moses is considered to be one of the most admired people of the Bible. Can you imagine the stress that was upon Moses to lead between 2 and 3 million Israelites around in the wilderness for 40 years as they would not be obedient to go into Canaan Land shortly after they got out of Egypt?
There were times when the Israelites threatened to stone Moses but he held steady and did not give up.
When everything seems like your world is falling apart and there seems to be no hope, whatever you do, do not give up.
When you go through seasons of your life the Lord knows the outcome for you and that is that He will equip you to do the mission He has called you to. He will be with you every minute in the season that you are in.
You need to remember the Word of God in these times: “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. STAND THEREFORE …” Ephesians 6:13-14 (Don’t give up, the Lord has given you the victory).

We are involved in our ministry on an international level and also will be continuing to minister at churches as we are led to go to these churches in the United States.
On Tuesday October 27, 2015 the Spirit of God gave me a dream about a very large amount of people that I was ministering to. It seemed they were from different parts of the world. As I ministered to them I told them that WORLD WIDE REVIVAL was coming and that it would touch everyone on the face of the earth.
Every time I would say something to this huge crowd of people there would come a shout of excitement from them. But as I looked over to my right there was a man who I got eye contact with and I said this to him as we looked at each other. I told that man, whoever he was, that it was even going to affect him even though he would try to resist it.
And then I woke up.
Nita and I knew then and now that it was a dream from the Spirit of God and that He had called Nita and me to be part of this END TIME WORLD WIDE REVIVAL.
Since then I have ministered on revival in meetings and conversations I have had with other churches around the world.
JESUS SAID, “SAY NOT YE, THERE ARE YET FOUR MONTHS, AND THEM COMETH HARVEST? BEHOLD, I SAY UNTO YOU, LIFT UP YOUR EYES, AND LOOK ON THE FIELDS; FOR THEY ARE WHITE ALREADY TO HARVEST.” John 4:35
Mankind has a tendency to push revival back to sometime in the future.
REVIVAL, REVIVAL, REVIVAL. (NOW, NOW, NOW).
“AS GOD’S PARTNERS, WE BEG YOU NOT TO ACCEPT THIS MARVELOUS GIFT OF GOD’S KINDNESS AND THEN IGNORE IT. FOR GOD SAYS, AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME, I HEARD YOU. ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU.” 2 Corinthians 6:1-2, NEW LIVING TRANSLATION. INDEED THE “RIGHT TIME” IS NOW. TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.”
We are spreading the Word of God around the world as the Holy Spirit leads us to new areas in an ever increasing amount.
