“Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in your book were all written the days that were appointed for me, when as yet there was not one of them (even taking shape). Psalm 139:16 Amplified Version
The Lord had given David in the Book of Psalm a revelation as to just how incredibly important you are to the Lord to the point that even before you were born the Lord had a plan and still does for your life.
That is why it is so important to allow the Lord to shape your life into what He has for you that will always be so much better than you could ever imagine and light years beyond what you could possibly do without allowing Him to take over your life.
That is the most exciting adventure you could ever hope for with the Lord at the helm of your life.
He loves you beyond anything you could ever even hope for.
This cooperating with the Lord to shape your life brings success and joy to your life. It gives you a sense of great accomplishment and peace as you are doing what He has destined for you before you were born.
It is amazing to think that the Great God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob loves you so incredibly much that He has tailor made your life after the design He had for you before your birth.
That’s just how special you are to the Lord.
He is your personal Savior and Lord.
In my earlier teachings on “THE SEASONS OF YOUR LIFE” I talked about Abraham and Lot, Moses and then the prophets Elijah and Elisha and how God worked through the seasons of their lives.
Today I feel led by the Lord to go over to the New Testament and do some teaching on the Apostle Peter and how the Lord worked in His life.
The word impetuous is defined as: impulsive, rash, hasty, reckless and foolhardy.
This word impetuous describes Peter so well in his early years with the Lord as He called him to be one of His disciples.
To say Peter had “rough edges” would be an understatement.
Peter was one of several fishermen that Jesus hand-picked to be one of His disciples.
Peter’s brother was Andrew and Jesus called both of them to follow Him one day as Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee and they were casting their nets into the water and told them “…follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:18-19
Peters name at the time when Jesus first called him to be a disciple was Simon.
The name Simon meant “reed like” or “grass like” giving the idea that Simon could be moved by the wind and therefore Simon was a very unstable name.
Early in Jesus ministry Jesus changed Simon’s name to Peter in Greek meaning Petros or a stone. “And he (Andrew, his brother brought him, Simon to Jesus) and when Jesus beheld him He said, thou art Simon the Son of Jona; thou shalt be called Cephas which is interpreted, a Stone. John 1:42
Why did Jesus change Simon’s name to Peter?
The change was made because Jesus knew that Peter being an impetuous person had to change the image of himself and instead of being unstable like a reed or grass blown by the wind he now had a name that started to change the image Peter had of himself to a stone.
We see that in the Old Testament the Lord changed Abram’s name to Abraham meaning father of many and Sara’s name to Sarah meaning “princess” of the Jewish nation. The Lord also changed Jacob’s name to Israel so Jacob would see that he was called to father the 12 sons that became the 12 tribes of Israel.
In looking at Peter’s early discipleship with the Lord we see that he still has that impetuous nature. In Matthew 14: 24-31 the disciples see Jesus walking on the water and Peter immediately wants to try it also. He asks Jesus if you want me to walk on the water with you tell me and Jesus said come.
Don’t get me wrong the act that Peter did took a lot of courage and faith and he did walk on the water for a while until a storm came but this encounter with the Lord shows how impetuous Peter was that immediately he wants to do what Jesus is doing.
Thank the Lord that He also works with you in the same way. Jesus sees great potential in your life and will sand those rough edges off on you as you grow and mature in Him and His word.
In Matthew 16:21-23 Jesus is talking to His disciples about how He will be crucified and then raise from the dead on the 3rd day.
Peter jumps in on the statement that Jesus said and started to rebuke Jesus for even talking about such an event. Once again Peter starts talking before his mind kicked into gear. Peter thought he knew better about what Jesus should do.
Peter’s heart was right but his words were wrong, it often got him in trouble.
In Mark 9: 2-6 we read an account of the transfiguration of Jesus Christ and suddenly appeared Elijah and Moses on the mountain. Peter said that he wanted to build 3 tabernacles one for each of them. Then in Mark 9:6 says: “For he (Peter) wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid.” Mark 9:6
First of all Peter needed to understand that the Lord does not share his glory with anyone so when Peter stated he wanted to make 3 tabernacles one for each of them he was out of order.
As Mark 9:6 states, Peter was afraid and sometimes in your Christian walk with the Lord it is better to say nothing that to believe that you have to reply to every situation especially when you are stressed.
Finally and this is not all of the times that we see Peter as impetuous but we see Peter denying the Lord 3 times even though he stated very strongly that he would not deny Christ at his trial. Matthew 26:31-35
In Matthew 26:34 Jesus is talking to Peter after he states he will not deny Christ: “Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice” Please see Matthew 26:34
Peter did just as Jesus told him he would do and did deny that he knew Jesus 3 times that night and the cock crowed after the 3rd denial.
In Matthew 26:69-75 Jesus prophecy about Peter’s denial of him came to pass. But from Matthew 26:75 it states that after Peter denied Christ 3 times he went out and wept bitterly. We understand from this scripture and later at the resurrection of Jesus that Peter had a repentant heart for his denials of Jesus.
Look at the forgiveness and love that Lord had for Peter even after Peter had denied Him 3 times. When Jesus arose from the dead on the 3rd day an angel gave this message from Jesus to Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salome: “But go your way, tell His disciples AND PETER that He goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see Him, as He said unto you.” Mark 16:7
As I stated we can see from the verses concerning Peter’s denial that he indeed had remorse for what he had done and certainly had asked for the Lord to forgive him.
Then 50 days after Passover (Easter) on the Day of Pentecost we see that Peter stood up and gave a message to the people that were looking up into the Upper Room Acts 2:14-41 and 3,000 people were born again by the anointed message that Peter gave on that day.
The man that had been like a “shaking reed” had developed into that stone that the Lord had prophesied about Peter’s life. Peter had indeed became a man of the Holy Spirit fire burning in him.
The Lord had worked through all the seasons of Peter’s life and now he had become one of the pillars of the New Testament Church on the day of its birth, the Day of Pentecost.
The seasons that Peter had gone through during Jesus earth walk and later after Jesus resurrection were not easy for Peter but the man that Peter had become was tremendous.
Just like the seasons that the Lord is working in your life will not be easy but they are unbelievably rewarding to you.
From there we see a Peter as a man full of assurance and faith that was one of the main persons in the Book of Acts.
His accomplishments from that point forward were tremendous through the Lord.
He indeed became a very important pillar of the New Testament Church as signs and wonders worked through Him to establish the Lord’s kingdom on earth.
The Lord will probably not change your name but one of the most important ways the Lord works in your life is through reading and meditating on His Word and becoming a doer of His Word.
The Lord does not encourage you to read His Word and pray on a daily basis just to have you go through the motions. He knows that as you read and meditate on the Word of God and become a doer of His Word you will get a sharp image of who you are. That image becomes sharper in your spirit as your Christian walk goes on IF YOU CONTINUE to read and meditate on the Word of God AND THEN BECOME A DOER OF THE WORD OF GOD.
The Bible talks about this image of yourself in James 1:22-25: “But be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the Word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass (mirror). For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway, forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty (reading and meditating on the Word and becoming a doer of it) and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work THIS MAN SHALL BE BLESSED IN HIS DEED.” Please see James 1:22-25
When you read and meditate on the Word of God on a daily basis it is like you are looking in a mirror at yourself. Your image of yourself changes from an image of defeat and distortion to an image that is crystal clear.
You see that you were bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus Christ 1 Corinthians 6:20, you see that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus 2 Corinthians 5:21, you see that all of your needs are met according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.
You will also see that you do not have to be afraid anymore because God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind 2 Timothy 1:7.
You see that by Jesus Christ stripes that He took for you before He was crucified you are healed already 2,000 years ago, so you are not going to be healed, you already are by faith in those healing stripes upon Jesus Isaiah 53:5
Just to name a few of the many blessings that belong to you in Christ Jesus.
Do you see where I am coming from?
There are approximately 3,000 promises of God to you as you read His Word and they are all yours as you look into that PERFECT LAW OF LIBERTY (GOD’S WORD) AND BECOME A DOER OF THAT WORD.
Reading and meditating on the Word of God each day and then doing that Word in your life is like looking into a mirror of yourself. Each day you get a fresh look at who you are according to God’s Word. Each day that image of who you are in Christ Jesus becomes sharper and sharper in your spirit and in those seasons of your life the Lord is working with you now and in the coming days.
Then when the trials of life come against you instead of falling you will stand through every storm and come out the other side victorious because you have a sure foundation in your life and it is called the WORD OF GOD.
Read the Word of God, meditate on the Word of God and do the Word of God. There is no shortcut to become a powerful man or women of God.
Of course this needs to be incorporated with daily prayer as prayer will give you an opportunity to talk to the Lord and be in close fellowship with Him and during times of prayer He will talk to you also.
This should make you shout.
We want to thank all of you that have prayed and given financially to this ministry.
Nita and I also greatly appreciate your effectual fervent prayers for this ministry as we know that prayer changes things and helps us accomplish all that the Lord has called us to do as we minister to the world on this ministry website.
We ask if the Lord has spoken to your heart to give financially to this ministry and that you believe this ministry has blessed your life that you will be obedient to the Spirit of God and give financially.

We are involved in our ministry on an international level and also will be continuing to minister at churches as we are led to go to these churches in the United States.
On Tuesday October 27, 2015 the Spirit of God gave me a dream about a very large amount of people that I was ministering to. It seemed they were from different parts of the world. As I ministered to them I told them that WORLD WIDE REVIVAL was coming and that it would touch everyone on the face of the earth.
Every time I would say something to this huge crowd of people there would come a shout of excitement from them. But as I looked over to my right there was a man who I got eye contact with and I said this to him as we looked at each other. I told that man, whoever he was, that it was even going to affect him even though he would try to resist it.
And then I woke up.
Nita and I knew then and now that it was a dream from the Spirit of God and that He had called Nita and me to be part of this END TIME WORLD WIDE REVIVAL.
Since then I have ministered on revival in meetings and conversations I have had with other churches around the world.
JESUS SAID, “SAY NOT YE, THERE ARE YET FOUR MONTHS, AND THEM COMETH HARVEST? BEHOLD, I SAY UNTO YOU, LIFT UP YOUR EYES, AND LOOK ON THE FIELDS; FOR THEY ARE WHITE ALREADY TO HARVEST.” JOHN 4:35
Mankind has a tendency to push revival back to sometime in the future.
REVIVAL, REVIVAL, REVIVAL. (NOW, NOW, NOW).
“AS GOD’S PARTNERS, WE BEG YOU NOT TO ACCEPT THIS MARVELOUS GIFT OF GOD’S KINDNESS AND THEN IGNORE IT. FOR GOD SAYS, AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME, I HEARD YOU. ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU.” 2 Corinthians 6:1-2, NEW LIVING TRANSLATION. INDEED THE “RIGHT TIME” IS NOW. TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.”
We are spreading the Word of God around the world as the Holy Spirit leads us to new areas in an ever increasing amount.

We want to rejoice with you and pray for you. Thank you (Please look up these scriptures: John 3:3 and Romans 10:9-10 it talks about you being born again).
Surely you know people who are going through hell and high water with real battles in their life both Christians and those that are not born again Christians. The Word of God that is presented each week will help turn their situation around if they do the Word of God and instead of the anguish and tears will bring a smile and victory to their life, isn’t that worth you sharing this website with others?
This includes the ones that not able to go to church because of disabilities and sickness or for one reason or another can’t attend church. Can you imagine how this Word of God would bless and comfort them? Please share this website with these folks also.
