First of all Nita and I want to say to all of you from around the world that view this ministry website each week. Have a blessed New Year in 2016 in every realm, spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally and socially. A much better year than you could ever imagine. Ephesians 3:20
Thank you so much for visiting our world-wide ministry website today.
We are very excited about ministering on the Fruit of the Spirit. God has put an excitement in our hearts about sharing this with you because we know it is from the Father’s heart.
The fruit of the Spirit is God’s personality and character that we received in our spirit when we became born again as God made His residence in us by His Holy Spirit entering into our spirit at the new birth. Please see 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Then we can choose to allow these wonderful characteristics of God to come out of our life to bless others, amen?
From the original Greek the word goodness is translated uprightness of heart and life, goodness and kindness.
We get no better example than the GOODNESS of God: “Or despisest thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering: NOT KNOWING THAT THE GOODNESS OF GOD LEADETH THEE TO REPENTANCE?” Romans 2:4
When you read the verses before this verse, i.e. Romans 2:1-3 you can see that the Apostle Paul is talking about a person that judges another but they commit the same sins and yet God is a fair judge. Then in verse 4 the Apostle Paul is challenging all of us that know Christ that His goodness is so great that it is that quality in our Savior that helped lead us to Him. In fact in verse 4 it mentions God’s goodness twice.
Thank God for His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering toward us. The Bible says: “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Please share this website with others that you know.
Remember the Word of God will bless every person no matter who they are. God speaks to our hearts when we receive ministry from Him and He puts others people in our hearts and tells us to call or e mail that person because they need the Word of God also.
You never know what that friend or family member of yours is going through. The trauma and fear that they are experiencing.
So please follow what the Spirit of the Living God is telling you and call up or e mail other people that you know so they too can receive the powerful Word of God in their lives.
That also includes the shut ins which includes people who are disabled or now are old and not able to come to a church building but still need ministering to just like you and me. So please give our website address to these people and see that they are blessed. Thank you.
The scriptures that are highlighted in this teaching will take you to BibleGateway.com and usually are in King James translation, however once you get to that site you can pick many different translations. To return to this teaching just go to your upper left hand corner of your computer screen and click back on the teaching tab.
There is a Christian song that has these lyrics in it, while Jesus hung on that cross He had YOU on His mind, He died for YOU.
Does the goodness of God lead us to repentance? You bet. But whether a person takes that leading is up to them. God will never break anyone’s will._
God will lead but will not drive a person to anything.
There came a time in my life when I was a young teenage boy that I received a realization of the goodness of God that night as I walked down the aisle of the church sobbing as I knelt at the altar and gave my life to Christ.
His goodness overwhelmed me that night and the huge weight of sin, like a 100lb sack of cement on my back got lifted off of me. I was saved and free. Hallelujah to the King!
To this day, I constantly see the goodness of God in my life, Nita’s, our families and others.
What is the goodness of God, here we see a prime example of the goodness of God: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
That is the grace of God if I have ever seen it.
So now that we have established how God shows His goodness to us now we are going to see how we can let that fruit of goodness come out of us.
It is His goodness that is in us as born again Christians that we have because in ourselves we have no goodness. It is all about Him in us and allowing that goodness to come out of us to bless other people.
“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” Hebrews 13:16 ESV (English Standard Version)
Why can we as Christians share that goodness that is in us?
“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 5:5
When you received the new birth and were born from above, God’s Spirit entered into you and you received His divine nature in you. That’s why you are able to give the love of God even the goodness of God to others because He lives in you.
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” Please see text 1 Corinthians 3:16 (I know I used this same verse up above but there is no rule I can’t use it again in a teaching, Amen? Ha ha
The problem is not that He lives in you but the problem can be that you do not allow that love of God and goodness of God that is in you to come out. After all you have control of your spirit, God will not make you do anything that you do not want to do. It’s up to you.
Are you going to sow the goodness of God in others people lives? Does it bring joy to you to see other people blessed because of God’s divine character coming out of you? To see that smile on someone else’s face? To see tears of joy running down their face?
It should absolutely excite you to share the goodness of God with others.
You are blessed by God to now be a blessing to other people in this world who desperately need your love and hope in their lives.
The fruit of the Spirit called goodness is a powerful blessing to others.
It is the goodness of God in you as a Christian that leads you to help others: To bring food to the hungry, clothes to the needy, visit those that are in prison and in hospitals, to intercede for others, to find out where God wants you to serve in your church and do it, to show that goodness to your neighbors and people you work with, to help people that God puts on your heart financially, to help others in their need.
John Osteen, the father of Joel Osteen once wrote a book, I believe the title was called, “The Divine Flow.”
I read that book many years ago and I remember one thing in particular that showed God’s goodness coming out of us as Christians toward others.
John Osteen said that we need to be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit in our life. The Holy Spirit will lead us through His divine flow. The Holy Spirit will talk to you many times by putting a “want to” in your spirit to do something for others.
John gave the example of a person receiving that divine flow in their spirit to make a pie for their neighbor and taking it to them.
Sad to say that some neighbors of Christians would probably faint at the door if such goodness would be brought to them in the form of a fresh pie they baked because they have never experienced that goodness coming out of them.
But it is never too late, right?
That neighbor lives next to you and observes everything you do and say. Believe it or not even though you may not talk to them they know a lot about you.
Wouldn’t it be a great starting point to do something good for them? Something to show the goodness of God coming out of you?
We have some neighbors of ours. A mother and her adult daughter. The mother that often trims the bushes around their house suffered from a hip problem for a while and their bushes started getting out of hand.
I felt that divine flow come out of me one day as I picked up my hedge trimmers and went over to their hedge and cut them all back and picked up the clippings. I wasn’t after anything, I just had the “want to” the divine flow, inside of me to do it.
Later after I had forgot about even doing it the daughter came out of her front door one day on her way to work and said that her mother told her that I had trimmed their hedge and she wanted to thank me for it. My joy was to see a smile on that daughters face.
You see there are all kinds of ways to ALLOW the goodness of God, one of the fruit of the Spirit, to come out of you to show the love of God to others, Amen?
I encourage you to get up in the morning and ask the Lord to help you be a blessing to someone today, each and every day.
It may seem very small to you but to the Lord and the recipient it is a big deal. God is pleased.
The goodness of God flowing out of our hearts or any of the fruit of the Spirit should never be motivated by works to try to get something from God or someone but instead our motivation should be love for God and others, solely.
You never know what wonderful things may happen in that person’s life that you sowed that goodness in their life.
It could be the tipping point for them to ask the Lord to come into their life and be born again. What a harvest you will have reaped.
But even if it doesn’t move the person to that point, the joy of seeing others being blessed should be more than enough satisfaction for you.
Please let us know in what country or state you are viewing our website at, we are honored to hear all the different places that people are receiving our website and the Word of God is blessing their lives. Thank you.
For you pastors or leaders of groups that are interested in our ministry please contact us at:
We have an evangelistic/teaching ministry that we know will bring a revival of God and His Word to your church or group. We minister on many different areas including the Holy Spirit and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit including teaching on the gifts of the Holy Spirit, how to walk in the supernatural things of the Lord, dreams and visions, how to worship God in Spirit and in truth, the blessing of tithes and offerings and always the most important, how to actually lead people to the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Has this teaching website helped you?
Please consider supporting this ministry financially on a regular basis as we continue with this website and going out to churches and groups as evangelists and teachers. Your giving makes that possible as you sow into lives around the world. “For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.” Please see I Corinthians 3:9
At present we have 10 different ministries that have contacted us from around the world that are viewing this website with you every week and teaching our teaching to their congregations. In addition to that we are able to teach them individually as God leads us to help them grow in the Word of God. They are wonderful men and women of God comprised of 8 pastors and 2 evangelists.
These 10 ministries are touching the lives of thousands as they minister in their churches and go out into their cities and neighboring cities and hold revivals.
Nita and I are truly honored and humbled that the Lord supernaturally sent these pastors and evangelists from around the world for us to help them and have them to bless us. They did not know us and we did not know them. The Holy Spirit literally had their hands get on the computer keys and led them to our ministry website.
We asked them how they found us and they said it was the Lord, it was the Holy Spirit of God. Hallelujah. All praise to the mighty God we serve.
So indeed this is fertile spiritual ground to sow your finances into.
You can send a check, cashier’s check or money order to the P. O. Box posted on this website.
