Welcome to our website, Nita and I pray that you will be blessed from receiving the Word of God.
We are continuing with the Fruit of the Spirit:
When I looked up the meaning of gentleness in this scripture I found that in the original Greek it means not only gentleness but also kindness.
The word gentleness might be a somewhat hard thing for some brothers in the Lord to ask the Lord for that fruit to come out of them. They may feel like it is not a very manly thing to yearn for and so may feel somewhat uncomfortable with this particular fruit of the Spirit.
Men have been so intimidated with what the world thinks a man is.
Anyone, anybody can go with the crowd even when they know what they are saying or doing is wrong.
I see so many people just going along with the crowd when they know it is wrong. What they are doing takes no courage, just another person bowing to peer pressure.
That’s a real man or woman? I think not.
Please share this website with others that you know.
Remember the Word of God will bless every person no matter who they are. God speaks to our hearts when we receive ministry from Him and He puts others people in our hearts and tells us to call or e mail that person because they need the Word of God also.
You never know what that friend or family member of yours is going through. The trauma and fear that they are experiencing.
So please follow what the Spirit of the Living God is telling you and call up or e mail other people that you know so they too can receive the powerful Word of God in their lives.
That also includes the shut ins which includes people who are disabled or now are old and not able to come to a church building but still need ministering to just like you and me. So please give our website address to these people and see that they are blessed. Thank you.
The scriptures that are highlighted in this teaching will take you to BibleGateway.com and usually are in King James translation, however once you get to that site you can pick many different translations. To return to this teaching just go to your upper left hand corner of your computer screen and click back on the teaching tab.
In looking at Ephesians 4:14-16 and Ephesians 4:31-32 we see that we are admonished as Christians to be like our Savior, Jesus Christ._
It is easy to follow the world. We could liken the world as individuals who are going downstream. Just floating along, with a big crowed of people in life because they are not doing anything to live for God, they are just there for the easy ride downstream.
However a Christian is always going up the river, they find it can be very hard due to strong currents at times.
These Christians meet some of the people they grew up with and know and they tell the Christian don’t fight the current just come down the river with us, it is easy. (It may be easy in some ways but the dues of it are losing out with the Lord forever and eternal damnation). Not a pretty picture, huh? But it is the truth.
“…but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.” 1 Timothy 4:8
What this is saying in a nutshell is that living for the Lord without compromise is profitable now in this world and in the world to come. Don’t let satan deceive you into believing that payday will not come for just going with the world floating down the river of life. Pay day will come, it will come.
Gentleness is one of the great characteristics of our great Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus demonstrated to all of us the importance of walking in that Godly personality and not to be afraid to show God’s love to others.
When I first started to think about this fruit of the Spirit called gentleness I thought of Galatians 6:1: “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.” _
Sometimes we see meekness used in the place of gentleness.
Don’t think meekness is related to weakness because that is not true. Meekness is one of the biggest indicators of strength that a Christian man or woman can have.
Let me ask you what group did Jesus say would inherit the earth inevitably? “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.” Matthew 5:5
I don’t know about you but I want to be one of the meek as far as God is concerned because I want to be one of the ones that will inherit the earth, one of the ones that will be saved.
That’s kind of important, Amen?
So those that show gentleness and meekness will inherit the earth.
Some great advice from God’s Word, you had better be in that crowd of the meek and the gentle if you want to be with the Lord eternally.
You have to get to the place in your Christian walk that you do not let others intimidate you into not living your Christian life or having you compromise.
I don’t care what the world thinks about me, I am going to live for the Lord, He is the most important person in my life, bar none.
I love Him and I will never be ashamed of it. He is my Lord, my Savior and my King.
Let’s go back to Galatians 6:1 again: Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.”
Let me just say it like it is. It is real easy to bring judgment and condemnation upon a brother or sister in the Lord if they sin and get away from living for the Lord. We could come up with words like, “I never would have thought,” or, “they know better than that,” or here’s a good one, “how many years have they been a Christian?” or to be really insensitive a Christian could say, “it serves them right for doing such a horrible thing.”
But what did Jesus say about all of that?
Let me give you my translation: Brothers and sisters in Christ, if you see a brother or sister in the Lord fall to sin, you which are spiritual, RESTORE, don’t come along and keep kicking him or her when they are down. But consider all you have done that was a sin when you missed the mark time and again with the Lord. So don’t be arrogant and beyond Godly love, but by the grace of God it could have been you and you could have done an even worse job of falling into sin than that brother or sister in Christ. Think of it!
It kind of sounds like Conrad’s amplified version but I know you get the idea.
Let’s get real with each other, there is no one that has not blown it big time, no one in one way or another and by the way I am talking about Christians.
I know this is a very serious indictment against Christians but it is true, what am I talking about? Christians are the only army that shoots it’s wounded.
We need to all make a promise to ourselves and our Lord that we will not act this way in the Christian Army, instead we will be like the Good Samaritan.
What did the Good Samaritan do? Luke 10:25-37.
The account is this, a man was robbed and beaten on his way to Jericho and a priest and a Levite came by and did nothing (just the ones you thought would have helped this man or it could have been a Christian that passed by and did nothing). But in the eyes of many a most unlikely candidate came by called a Samaritan and he immediately stopped to help the hurt man as he had compassion on him.
We all need to be able to let that wonderful spirit of GENTLENESS come out of us in the form of compassion to not only other Christians but all mankind, Amen?
Let’s look deeper, the Bible says how will the world know that we are Christians? “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13:35
What does the love of God bring out in you as a Christian, the fruit of GENTLENESS.
In the definition from the original Greek when I started this teaching on gentleness it also gives a definition of kindness.
In 2 timothy 2:14-26 Paul speaks to his young protégé Timothy concerning what qualities he will need to be a successful Christian. I will not go through all the verses here but I do want to quote the result of verses 14-20. See 2 Timothy 2:21 “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s USE (usefulness), and prepared unto every good work.”
In these verses the Apostle Paul is addressing that additional definition of gentleness from the original Greek by being useful to the Lord and having moral goodness and integrity.
You see it is all tied together, the fruit of the Spirit is so vitally important as they give us Godly character.
The Body of Christ, desperately needs mega doses of godly character, all of us. You see with godly character you cannot overdose, ever.
Unfortunately teaching on the fruit of the Spirit is not heard of in a lot of churches, no wonder it is not that prevalent.
That is obviously why the Holy Spirit spoke to our heart to teach on this subject.
Nita and I pray that you will take this ministry on the fruit of the Spirit of gentleness and all of our teaching on this subject and implement it into your life.
What will it do for you? You will grow spiritually and God will be able to use you in incredible ways.
Please let us know in what country or state you are viewing our website at, we are honored to hear all the different places that people are receiving our website and the Word of God is blessing their lives. Thank you.

We have an evangelistic/teaching ministry that we know will bring a revival of God and His Word to your church or group. We minister on many different areas including the Holy Spirit and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit including teaching on the gifts of the Holy Spirit, how to walk in the supernatural things of the Lord, dreams and visions, how to worship God in Spirit and in truth, the blessing of tithes and offerings and always the most important, how to actually lead people to the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Has this teaching website helped you?
Please consider supporting this ministry financially on a regular basis as we continue with this website and going out to churches and groups as evangelists and teachers. Your giving makes that possible as you sow into lives around the world. “For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.” Please see I Corinthians 3:9
At present we have 10 different ministries that have contacted us from around the world that are viewing this website with you every week and teaching our teaching to their congregations. In addition to that we are able to teach them individually as God leads us to help them grow in the Word of God. They are wonderful men and women of God comprised of 8 pastors and 2 evangelists.
These 10 ministries are touching the lives of thousands as they minister in their churches and go out into their cities and neighboring cities and hold revivals.
Nita and I are truly honored and humbled that the Lord supernaturally sent these pastors and evangelists from around the world for us to help them and for them to bless us. They did not know us and we did not know them. The Holy Spirit literally had their hands get on the computer keys and led them to our ministry website.
We asked them how they found us and they said it was the Lord, it was the Holy Spirit of God. Hallelujah. All praise to the mighty God we serve.
So indeed this is fertile spiritual ground to sow your finances into.
