Glory be to God, we have something to be thankful and shout about, for sure.
The Word of God calls us children of the light and not children of the darkness of this world. Please see text in Book of 1 Thessalonians 5:5.
I have been teaching on spiritual principles of God’s Word concerning faith.
In other words how faith works and how it will work for you.
There are certain principles in God’s Word that makes faith work.
Today I want to look at the principle of patience.
You may have heard the saying, “I want patience but I want it right now.” Then after we say that we laugh because patience is the thing that we all have to put the flesh under in order for it to operate in our lives.
Patience is not an easy thing to have but it is a very necessary ingredient for you to receive the blessings of God in your life.
Let’s see what the Bible says about patience and its huge importance in your faith walk with the Lord.
“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of PATIENCE, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” Hebrews 10:35-36
Let me say this from the start. The Lord will help you with building patience in your life if you have confidence in Him and His Word. In fact confidence is one of the first words in this text.
As you fellowship with the Lord in daily Bible reading and prayer and then use that faith in your Christian walk you will develop confidence and trust in the Lord. It will happen.
You see, satan will always test your faith. He will see if you really believe what you say.
Know this, patience is a spiritual force from the Lord. When you stand in patience with the Lord concerning promises that He has made to you it will actually put the pressure back on satan as you stand your ground no matter how long it takes for that promise to manifest in your life. Ephesians 6:11-12
Great men and women of faith have great patience.
Notice the text in Hebrews 10:35-36 says that if you keep your confidence up in God and His Word and don’t cast it away, in other words don’t give up while you keep doing the will of God then you will receive the promises of God.
Let me tell you the promises of God are sweet, they are invaluable, they will stretch your imagination of how great they are. Surely they are worth waiting for and having patience at the same time.
Notice that verse says AFTER YOU HAVE DONE THE WILL OF GOD
During the time that you have prayed regarding something and standing in faith for it you always need to be doing the will of God.
Patience and doing the will of God bring tremendous blessings of God in your life.
Let’s look at Noah.
First of all you need to remember that these Old Testament men and women of God were not born again. No one was born again until after Jesus Christ rose from the dead.
Nor did they have the Spirit of God in them.
They did not have 66 books of the Bible that you have sitting on your lap or on your cell phone.
Some of these men and women in the early parts of the Bible like Genesis did not even have any Bible to read at all. They totally depended on the faith that God gave them to believe in Him and lead and guide them.
You probably remember that in Noah’s day the sin of the world got so bad that God told Noah He was going to destroy the world and He told Noah to build an ark.
The odd thing was that it had never rained on the earth so obviously there had never been a flood. I’m sure people came by while Noah was building the ark and mocked him over and over again when he tried to tell them he was building an ark because there was a flood coming.
This ark was not a weekend project for sure.
The ark that Noah was instructed to build was approximately 450 feet long. Keeping in mind a football field is only 300 feet long. The ark was 45 feet tall and approximately 75 feet wide. The ark had the capacity of about 450 semi-trailers. You can see the measurements God required Noah to build the ark in Genesis 6:11-22.
A cubit is an ancient measurement from the elbow of a man to the tip of his longest finger.
We do not know exactly how long it took to build the ark but the estimates based on scripture seem to be about 100 years. Some estimates are less and some are more.
So let’s get back to our text and see how patience was indeed a virtue with Noah. This ark is a monster of a task. Needless to say Noah did not cast away his confidence and he stayed in the will of God for all those years.
What happened because of Noah’s faithfulness and patience, he and his family’s like was spared from the
Did Noah get a great reward, you bet he did.
Let me say this. Without patience in your Christian life you will miss out on many blessings.
Faith requires patience in order for it to work. It is part of the requirements for faith.
I can say in my own life some of the promises that I have received from the Lord have been received right away. Others have taken some time and still others have taken years for me to receive them.
But when they came they were huge blessings that was beyond what I could ask or think of. Please see Ephesians 3:20
David in the Old Testament is another person that exhibited great patience.
David was anointed by the prophet Samuel in 1 Samuel 16:1,11-13 to be the next king of Israel.
However from the time that the prophet Samuel anointed David to be the next king of Israel to the day that David actually became king took approximately 15 years. It is estimated that David was about 12-15 years old some feel that he was older than that however it was years before David finally became king of Israel at the age of 30 years old 2 Samuel 5:4.
You talk about patience. David had tremendous patience.
You see there was already an existing king in Israel called King Saul. King Saul saw in time that David was a mighty warrior so he had David be the leader of King Saul’s army.
David had such great victories in his battles with the enemies of King Saul that King Saul got very jealous of David and tried to kill him numerous times. One time while David was in the presence of King Saul the King tried to nail David to the wall with a spear but David escaped. 1 Samuel 19:1-10.
Can you imagine the times that David cried out to God and reminded him that the prophet Samuel had anointed him king and yet it had not happened yet and in the meantime King Saul is chasing David around and trying to kill him?
But David had great patience and trusted the promises of God and what happened, David became king of Israel at 30 years old. He received the reward that Hebrews 10:35-36 talks about. A cherished position for David.
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9.
Do you see how this verse ties right into Hebrews 10:35-36 talking about patience?
It is said that patience can be called “STUBBORN ENDURANCE.” Never giving up and living for the Lord in the meantime, then you will possess the promises of God.
The Apostle Paul in the New Testament is also a study in patience.
The Apostle Paul before his conversion on the Road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-31) was known as Saul of Tarsus and studied under the great Jewish theologian Gamaliel and persecuted the Church of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Book of Acts.
So after Saul’s conversion and name change to the Apostle Paul he thought that his learning years concerning the Old Testament law made him a great scholar.
However in reading in the Book of Acts we see that not long after Paul’s conversion that the Lord led Paul back to Tarsus away from the heat of the problems the New Testament Church. The Holy Spirit had to do some additional ministry to Paul and correct a lot of his former “knowledge” and bring him up to date on what the New Testament was all about.
This obviously was a trying time for Paul as he thought he had all of the Biblical education he would ever need but that education fell far short with the Lord.
The Apostle Paul had to have much patience for the years he was on the back side of the desert when in reality he wanted to roll up his sleeves and help the New Testament Church but God showed Paul he was not ready.
Years later the Apostle Paul was back on the scene with the other Apostles building the New Testament Church.
Are you going through a time of frustration that things are not happening fast enough for you in your Christian life? There is not any Christian who has and will not go through times like these.
We all go through these times of needing patience. In the same manner that the men and women of God in the Bible have gone down this same road as you but as they possessed patience they inherited the promises of God.
God is always faithful, He knows how you feel and will help you through every trail that you will ever go through and if you allow Him to lead you the blessings of God will flow in your life.
Take heart, God is the author and the finisher of your faith. He never gives up on you. Hebrews 12:2
The Lord knows the reason and best time for you to inherit the wonderful promises that He has spoken to you about even the destiny and purpose that He has put into your heart.
We want to thank all of you that have prayed and given financially to this ministry.
Nita and I also greatly appreciate your effectual fervent prayers for this ministry as we know that prayer changes things and helps us accomplish all that the Lord has called us to do as we minister to the world on this ministry website.

We are involved in our ministry on an international level and also will be continuing to minister at churches as we are led to go to these churches in the United States.
On Tuesday October 27, 2015 the Spirit of God gave me a dream about a very large amount of people that I was ministering to. It seemed they were from different parts of the world. As I ministered to them I told them that WORLD WIDE REVIVAL was coming and that it would touch everyone on the face of the earth.
Every time I would say something to this huge crowd of people there would come a shout of excitement from them. But as I looked over to my right there was a man who I got eye contact with and I said this to him as we looked at each other. I told that man, whoever he was, that it was even going to affect him even though he would try to resist it.
And then I woke up.
Nita and I knew then and now that it was a dream from the Spirit of God and that He had called Nita and me to be part of this END TIME WORLD WIDE REVIVAL.
Since then I have ministered on revival in meetings and conversations I have had with other churches around the world.
JESUS SAID, “SAY NOT YE, THERE ARE YET FOUR MONTHS, AND THEM COMETH HARVEST? BEHOLD, I SAY UNTO YOU, LIFT UP YOUR EYES, AND LOOK ON THE FIELDS; FOR THEY ARE WHITE ALREADY TO HARVEST.” JOHN 4:35
Mankind has a tendency to push revival back to sometime in the future.
REVIVAL, REVIVAL, REVIVAL. (NOW, NOW, NOW).
“AS GOD’S PARTNERS, WE BEG YOU NOT TO ACCEPT THIS MARVELOUS GIFT OF GOD’S KINDNESS AND THEN IGNORE IT. FOR GOD SAYS, AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME, I HEARD YOU. ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU.” 2 Corinthians 6:1-2, NEW LIVING TRANSLATION. INDEED THE “RIGHT TIME” IS NOW. TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.”
We are spreading the Word of God around the world as the Holy Spirit leads us to new areas in an ever increasing amount.

If you do not have the assurance of where you would spend eternity if you died right now please go to the top of this website and it will have a tab for “SALVATION.” In that tab will be what is required by God to be right with Him. When you pray that prayer and accept the Lord please send us a g mail to our website at: email@example.com and let us know that you accepted the Lord as your Savior and Lord and were born again. We want to rejoice with you and pray for you. Thank you (Please look up these scriptures: John 3:3 and Romans 10:9-10 it talks about you being born again).
Surely you know people who are going through hell and high water with real battles in their life both Christians and those that are not born again Christians. The Word of God that is presented each week will help turn their situation around if they do the Word of God and instead of the anguish and tears will bring a smile and victory to their life, isn’t that worth you sharing this website with others?
This includes the ones that not able to go to church because of disabilities and sickness or for one reason or another can’t attend church. Can you imagine how this Word of God would bless and comfort them? Please share this website with these folks also.
