What I want to bring to you today is that there is a tab called “JESUS FILM” on our website. Those short films usually no more than 2 or 3 minutes tell of the birth, life, death and resurrection of our blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The sound, picture and acting are excellent and I know you will be blessed by viewing them.
A grandmother told me that she showed them to her grandchildren and they really enjoyed the films. They made the Bible come alive for them. So I encourage you to not only view them yourself but have your children and grandchildren also view them, they will be blessed and will help them grow in the love and knowledge of the Lord.
Let’s continue the ministry that I started last week on sanctification.
The most general definition of sanctification is that it is to be separated for God’s service
We can see this principal in the life of Abraham in Genesis 12:1-9. God called Abraham to leave his father’s house that was in Ur of the Chaldees which is where modern day Iraq is now. People in that area were heavily involved in idolatry and so it is believed that Abraham was subjected by his father to this form of worship instead of the true God.
But as Abraham left that area and followed where God called him to go he became sanctified unto God so that he could be used of God to be blessed as the father of the Jewish nation and later be a blessing to the whole world. Genesis 12:2-3
Moses went through the same sanctification by the Lord but under different circumstances. Exodus 2:1-25
Moses was raised by the Pharaoh of Egypt’s daughter instead of his maternal mother as his mother had to hide him in the bulrushes or he would be killed by the Egyptians. The Pharaoh’s daughter found him and became his step mother but later on Moses decided that he was not really part of his step mother’s life in Egypt and left that area.
Then we see Moses at the burning bush and we see a further step of sanctification as God called him to be a leader of the Jewish nation that was captive in Egypt. Exodus 3:1-22
I could tell you about sanctification in the life of Joseph, Rahab, David and many others that came to the Lord in the Old Testament. All of them went through sanctification or being separated from the world in order to do God’s service.
Please share this website with others that you know.
Remember the Word of God will bless every person no matter who they are. God speaks to our hearts when we receive ministry from Him and He puts others people in our hearts and tells us to call or e mail that person because they need the Word of God also.
You never know what that friend or family member of yours is going through. The trauma and fear that they are experiencing. Reading and meditating on God’s Word delivers people that are in trauma, fear or confusion. There is tremendous Power in the Word of God. Hebrews 4:12
So please follow what the Spirit of the Living God is telling you and call up or e mail other people that you know so they too can receive the powerful Word of God in their lives.
That also includes the shut ins which includes people who are disabled or now are old and not able to come to a church building but still need ministering to just like you and me. So please give our website address to these people and see that they are blessed. Thank you.
The scriptures that are highlighted in this teaching will take you to BibleGateway.com and usually are in King James translation, however once you get to that site you can pick many different translations. To return to this teaching just go to your upper left hand corner of your computer screen and click back on the teaching tab.
We see in the New Testament that Peter has some moments of temptation that he yielded to as he denied Christ 3 times at the time of the crucifixion. Luke 22:54-62. But later on the Day of Pentecost Peter stood up like a rock and faithfully proclaimed Jesus as Lord and Savior. Peter had become a transformed man after the new birth and his baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. Acts 2:14-47.
Peter spoke like a man from another world, Peter spoke the Word of God on that day and 3,000 people came to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This is another example of the wonderful work of sanctification that the Holy Spirit does in the lives of men and women of God to transform them to be used of our Lord and King.
Then we see the Apostle Paul. You probably know the story of Saul on his way to torture more Christians on the Road to Damascus and how the Lord Jesus arrested his attention and Saul became the great Apostle Paul after his conversion. Acts 9:1-22.
You see sanctification is not new in God’s Word nor is it a new thing God is doing in this world today. The Lord has called you to be sanctified, to be set apart from the world for his purpose which will be the most exciting and blessed life you could ever live.
How do I know?
“For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 New Ling Translation. (NLT)
“Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:4-5
No one, I said no one, can bless you like the Lord as you yield your life to Him and follow His leading for your life. He can and will bless you with blessings money can’t ever buy along with financial blessings also.
All great men and women of God need to make a choice to come out of the world once they are born again and now live for God.
Why would you even want to try to stay in the world, to do and say and go to the places you used to be involved in when you know your conscience and God’s Word tells you that these things are not of Him and have very serious results? Those things in your former life only bring heartache and confusion sooner or later. Amen?
Think about it?
I see Christians that are born again but have no joy and one of the greatest reasons for this is they keep trying to keep one foot in their former life and one in the Christian walk and they are miserable.
I Peter 4:4 addresses this problem of your former “friends” trying to lure you back into the pig pin. We have all been there, who wants to go back to that mess? No thanks.
“Wherein they think it strange that you run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you.” I Peter 4:4 (The best advice you could ever have is stay away from that mess).
We all need to learn to not sell ourselves short. We are considered to be royalty by Jesus Christ once you come to Him.
You may not “feel” like it but brother and sister in Christ you are royalty, God’s Word proclaims it.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” I Peter 2:9
Look at how much the Lord honor’s you as a born again Christian? You are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, by the way the word peculiar there means a (purchased possession, not a wierdo), by Jesus Christ of course. Then the Lord said He has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
You used to live in darkness now you live in the light of Jesus Christ. Can I get a hallelujah from all of you around the world? What does hallelujah mean? (PRAISE THE LORD)
So we as Christians need to stop trying to be part of the world because we are not. We are in the world but we are to part of it.
Of course we cannot get a greater example of living the Christian life than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As we look into the Gospels we see that Jesus had many acquaintances. He ate with the publicans and the sinners. He ministered to hookers, thieves, murderers you name it. Jesus loves everyone in this world then and now. John 3:16
But as Jesus finished ministering to these people He headed back to His friends.
Who did Jesus call His friends? Please read John 14 and John 15. Here Jesus is ministering to His disciples we can see this by the disciples through these chapters ask Jesus questions and you can tell by what is said that Jesus is training them.
What I want you to notice is what Jesus says in John 15:15 “Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth; but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”
Jesus called His disciple’s friends not the ones He ministered to in the world.
You see it is ok to have acquaintances in the world but they are not to be considered our friends. Christian brothers and sisters that the Lord has led us to are our friends. We get acquaintances mixed up with friends.
Friends is a very strong word and needless to say we use that word like it means really nothing at times.
Here is our example. Jesus after ministering in love to the world came back to His friends which were His disciples. Then Jesus even had an inner circle of friends their names were Peter, James and John.
Who went up into the Mount of Transfiguration with Jesus, Peter, James and John and other specials events with Jesus? Matthew 17:1-13
So our acquaintances need to be the people we meet in the world but our friends need to be brothers and sisters in the Lord that we feel like the Lord has brought us together. Then even have an inner circle of Christian friends that we are especially close to.
Why does God’s Word tell us to live like this because He created us and knows what is best for us? He knows what will bring love, joy and peace in our life and these things are invaluable. He wants us to live a full life in Him and experience being seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:6 this is the spiritual place of honor that Jesus has elevated us to once we come to Him as Savior. We have special rights and places of honor through Christ Jesus. Places to fellowship with our Lord Jesus.
Places of authority over satan and demons.
I don’t want you to get me wrong. We are told to love the people of the world to the point that we help lead them to Christ as the opportunity arises. We are not to feel like they are lower than us nor treat them in any way other than love. We are not to act like we have false pride and arrogance against them our Savior Jesus Christ never did these things. But we are not to compromise our Christian walk nor the Word of God in any way. We need to follow our Savior’s life style.
Nita and I pray that this ministry on sanctification will help give you direction in your Christian life. We pray it will answer questions about where you belong as far as Jesus is concerned in this world system that you live in.
Once again we are teaching on a subject that you do not hear much teaching about and I’m sure one of the reasons is that sanctification is akin to holiness. It seems like the Lord has been leading us to do a lot of teaching on these types of subjects, doesn’t it?
Just because you do not hear much teaching on this subject does not mean that the Lord does not hold high importance for this subject to be thoroughly taught throughout the body of Christ.
Please let us know in what country or state you are viewing our website at, we are honored to hear all the different places that people are receiving our website and the Word of God is blessing their lives? Thank you.
For you pastors or leaders of groups that are interested in our ministry please contact us at:
We have an evangelistic/teaching ministry that we know will bring a revival of God and His Word to your church or group. We minister on many different areas including the Holy Spirit and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit including teaching on the gifts of the Holy Spirit, how to walk in the supernatural things of the Lord, dreams and visions, how to worship God in Spirit and in truth, the blessing of tithes and offerings and always the most important, how to actually lead people to the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Has this teaching website helped you?
Please consider supporting this ministry financially on a regular basis as we continue with this website and going out to churches and groups as evangelists and teachers. Your giving makes that possible as you sow into lives around the world. “For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.” see I Corinthians 3:9
At present we have 10 different ministries that have contacted us from around the world that are viewing this website with you every week and using our teaching to teach their congregations. In addition to that we are able to teach them individually as God leads us to help them grow in the Word of God. They are wonderful men and women of God comprised of 8 pastors and 2 evangelists.
These 10 ministries are touching the lives of thousands as they minister in their churches and go out into their cities and neighboring cities and hold revivals.
Nita and I are truly honored and humbled that the Lord supernaturally sent these pastors and evangelists from around the world for us to help them and for them to bless us. They did not know us and we did not know them.
The Holy Spirit literally had their hands get on the computer keys and led them to our ministry website.
We asked them how they found us and they said it was the Lord, it was the Holy Spirit of God. Hallelujah. All praise to the mighty God we serve.
So indeed this is fertile spiritual ground to sow your finances into.
