God bless you all and greetings from those of you around the world as you receive ministry today from the word of God regarding WISDOM FROM THE LORD.
“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and the latter rain.” James 5:7
There’s that word that most people do not like, the word “PATIENCE.” It can be said that faith is a virtue and that we want patience but we want it “RIGHT NOW.” ha ha
However you will never mature in your Christian walk unless you have patience. It will also be very hard for you to receive anything from the Lord without patience. Patience is not a lack of faith or a picture of doing nothing. Patience is a spiritual force that helps to bring the promises of God in manifestation in your life whether it is for receiving healing in your body, the blessings of finances, relationships or anything else, they all require patience.
James likens patience to a farmer who is waiting for the early and latter rain as he needs both rains to bring a great crop, an abundant harvest.
That harvest in your life represents the blessings of God pouring down in your life.
This same patience is needed as you wait for the coming of the Lord. The thing that makes it extra hard is that you may be going through real struggles in your life but you must remember that the Lord knew before you were created that you would be going through those hard times and fully intends on helping you through them.
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” Psalm 34:19
Remember the Lord has not forgotten about you, and He has made provision for you that He will give you victory in every battle you are going through. Hallelujah!
“You too, must be patient. Take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near. Don’t grumble about each other, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. For look-the judge is standing at the door.” Please see James 5:8-9 NLT
The Bible talks about this impatience in the last days, the Day of the Lord: “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts. And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as there were from the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:3-4
Rather than being uptight about when the Lord will return the first and most important thought of yours should be, “Am I ready when the Lord does return?”
Another statement is this. No one has nor ever will be able to see that God has lied in His Word. He has promised to return and He will at His exact right time which I know will not seem like your exact right time but once again how can anyone come against the wisdom of God. He knows the perfect time for the return of the Lord.
The best thing we can all do is to be about our Father’s business and be leading others to the Lord.
REDEEM YOUR TIME!
James does not want to just skip past the subject of patience so he gives some more examples of people who have to endure patience in their hard times of life: “For examples of patience in suffering, dear brothers and sisters, look at the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. We give great honor to those who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy.” Please see scriptures James 5: 10-11 NLT
James brings up the example of Job who went through some very hard times of suffering. No wonder why we say, “he or she has the patience of job.”
Even though Job lost everything through attacks by satan the Lord rewarded him double for all he had lost. See Job 42:10
Then James talks about the prophets in God’s Word that also went through trials at times, like all of us.
I am currently reading through the Bible once again and I am reading in the Book of Jeremiah a prophet of God. Jeremiah had a prophetic ministry for 40 years to the tribes of Judah and Benjamin telling them to turn from their sin or face being taken over by the Babylonians.
During this 40 year time of prophecy Jeremiah was beaten up and imprisoned and thrown down into a muddy cistern, his life was threatened over and over again. However Jeremiah stayed faithful to the Lord and maintained his prophetic ministry.
Jeremiah truly had patience and completed his destiny and purpose for the Lord.
“But most of all, my brothers and sisters, never take an oath, by heaven or earth or anything else. Just say a simple yes or no. so that you will not sin and be condemned.” James 5:12 NLT
Solomon the son of King David wrote several books about wisdom. He deals in one of his books about this very issue of making a vow (a promise): “When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it. Do not let your mouth lead you into sin.” Ecclesiastes 5:4-6 NIV
Solomon uses very blunt language here because of the fact that it is very imperative to keep your vow (promise) to God and everyone else for that matter.
Solomon says it is better to not make a vow than to make one and not keep it especially to the Lord. It is a sin. It is lying to the Lord or to someone else that you made a promise to. Sometimes your words can really get you into trouble as I full well know you are aware of.
Now James goes to another subject, the power of prayer. Another area of wisdom that we all need.
“Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.” James 5:13-14 NLT
While Nita and I were ministering in a church we knew that one of the things that the Lord had called us to do was to organize a prayer team for that church.
Then the Lord also gave us a verse to use to identify what would come out of that prayer group that we organized: “…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16
That scripture that the Lord gave us for the prayer group turned out to be a prophecy from the Lord for the healings and miracles that the Lord did through the prayer group. The healings and miracles of God are still coming forth from that prayer group to this very day and that has been about 8 years ago since that prayer group started.
God’s prophetic word about that prayer group is still coming to pass. God’s Word is powerful and enduring indeed.
When you look up the word “effectual fervent” in the original Greek of James 5:16 you will see that it means to: “PUT FORTH POWER.”
I like what one brother in the Lord stated one time as he was discussing this verse he said effectual fervent prayer means: “WHITE HOT PRAYER.”
Well you can’t put forth more power than that right? It is of course really God’s power flowing through you.
From this prayer group there were testimonies of deaf ears being opened as verified by a physician, cancers being removed, financial miracles including people getting the best jobs in their lives by their own testimonies.
One testimony happened after people on the prayer team prayed for a young girl who had some facial spotting on her face. After she was prayed for the family went to pizza and the parents gave a testimony that while they were eating their pizza the red spotting on their daughters face was being removed right before their eyes as they sat there watching her as she ate pizza. How wonderful.
It did not return.
The Lord can do anything. Amen?
Notice in in James 5:16 it sates: “Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed…” James 5:16
Sometimes people have sickness and disease in their life because they have unforgiveness toward someone else. I am not saying this is the cause all of the time, I said sometimes. Therefore asking for forgiveness to the other person if something was said from you to them and asking forgiveness of the Lord is needed before the healing can be received.
The power of prayer is awesome.
“Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three and a half years! Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops.” James 5:17-18. NLT
Isn’t it wonderful to know that Elijah the prophet was human just like you and he had his shortcomings also and yet he received forgiveness from the Lord and had a powerful prayer life. You can have a great prayer life also.
Then James deals with helping to restore another brother or sister in the Lord when they fall away from the Lord. Such a valuable statement.
I know you have probably heard that the Christian Army is the only army in the world that shoots it’s wounded. It is sad to say but many times that is the truth.
But James sets us straight on what you should do with an erring brother or sister in the Lord.
“My dear brothers and sisters, if someone among you wanders away from the truth and is brought back. You can be sure that whoever brings the sinner back will save that person from death and bring about the forgiveness of many sins.” James 5:19-20 NLT
Isn’t it so much better to be a restorer for a Christian that has lost their way and went back into sin than to be a condemner that shows no mercy? Think about this, you could be in the same mud sometime in your life and you will need someone to help you out of your mud and restore you, right?
The Apostle Paul also addresses this same situation in the Book of Galatians: “Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.” Galatians 6:1 NIV
You could end up in the same sin and need help yourself.
Blessed are the humble and the peacemakers.
Nita and I pray that this teaching on the Book of James has blessed your life and given you answers to things that you have been wondering about for possible years.
Without a doubt the wisdom that the Book of James brings forth can be applied to your Christian walk through your whole life. It will greatly bless you and give you joy and peace in your life.
Remember only God can give wisdom, the world can only bring knowledge which doesn’t compare with God’s wisdom.
God’s wisdom is an ultimate blessing from the Lord.
Ask for it today and every day.
We want to thank all of you that have prayed and given financially to this ministry.
Nita and I also greatly appreciate your effectual fervent prayers for this ministry as we know that prayer changes things and helps us accomplish all that the Lord has called us to do as we minister to the world on this ministry website.
We ask if the Lord has spoken to your heart to give financially to this ministry and that you believe this ministry has blessed your life that you will be obedient to the Spirit of God and give financially.

We are involved in our ministry on an international level and also will be continuing to minister at churches as we are led to go to these churches in the United States.
On Tuesday October 27, 2015 the Spirit of God gave me a dream about a very large amount of people that I was ministering to. It seemed they were from different parts of the world. As I ministered to them I told them that WORLD WIDE REVIVAL was coming and that it would touch everyone on the face of the earth.
Every time I would say something to this huge crowd of people there would come a shout of excitement from them. But as I looked over to my right there was a man who I got eye contact with and I said this to him as we looked at each other. I told that man, whoever he was, that it was even going to affect him even though he would try to resist it.
And then I woke up.
Nita and I knew then and now that it was a dream from the Spirit of God and that He had called Nita and me to be part of this END TIME WORLD WIDE REVIVAL.
Since then I have ministered on revival in meetings and conversations I have had with other churches around the world.
JESUS SAID, “SAY NOT YE, THERE ARE YET FOUR MONTHS, AND THEM COMETH HARVEST? BEHOLD, I SAY UNTO YOU, LIFT UP YOUR EYES, AND LOOK ON THE FIELDS; FOR THEY ARE WHITE ALREADY TO HARVEST.” JOHN 4:35
Mankind has a tendency to push revival back to sometime in the future.
REVIVAL, REVIVAL, REVIVAL. (NOW, NOW, NOW).
“AS GOD’S PARTNERS, WE BEG YOU NOT TO ACCEPT THIS MARVELOUS GIFT OF GOD’S KINDNESS AND THEN IGNORE IT. FOR GOD SAYS, AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME, I HEARD YOU. ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU.” 2 Corinthians 6:1-2, NEW LIVING TRANSLATION. INDEED THE “RIGHT TIME” IS NOW. TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.”
We are spreading the Word of God around the world as the Holy Spirit leads us to new areas in an ever increasing amount.
