I am excited to share this powerful chapter of Romans the 8th chapter today. I pray that you will get a revelation of this chapter from the Precious Holy Spirit of God. He is the only one that can do that for you, only the Precious Holy Spirit can give you what the world calls an AHA MOMENT or what we know is a SPIRIT OF REVELATION OF GOD’S WORD. Myself and any other minister of the Gospel can only present the Word of God to you.
The main emphasis of Romans the 8th chapter is ALLOWING YOUR REBORN SPIRIT AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD IN YOU TO DOMINATE YOUR LIFE, NOT YOUR FLESH, SO THAT YOU WILL WALK IN THE BLESSINGS OF GOD.
I want to give you an illustration of what I mean:
When you sin and get out of fellowship with God and refuse to ask the Lord for forgiveness you are allowing your flesh to dominate you. The Bible STILL SAYS whatsoever you sow you will reap. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” Galatians 6:7-8
When we as Christians get into sin and do not ask for forgiveness (1 John 1:9) it is like we have slipped on the proverbial banana peel and slid right into the pig pen. When you are in sin you will never have the peace of God, the blessings of God will no longer be received by you and you will be miserable. I’m just being honest with you, we don’t want to go there. (See the prodigal son Luke 15:11-32)
Like they say you can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig. That life of sin will weigh you down like a 100 lb sack of cement on your back. Sin is heavy.
